Term & Conditions 

1. EDUCATION PROGRAM ENROLMENT POLICIES

​

  • A 3 (THREE) months period is allocated to complete any selected scuba program, commencement and end dates inclusive. Deferment or extension of the validity period for the program will not be entertained regardless of medical or personal reasons.​

  • Upon allocation of dates for the program, should there be request for change, it should be provided and acknowledged by the education center, no less than seven days before program commencement or departure for the open sea dive portion  of the program (if inclusive).​

  • Blue reef scuba (LLP) reserves the right to accept or refuse any request for changes made less than seven days before program commencement or trip departure.​

  • Open sea dive portion of the program is scheduled upon availability. Please check with the dive center for the latest departure schedule.​

  • All promotion education programs will valid only upon registration with deposit.​

  • All promotion prices for any education program, offers only one full day confined water training in the pool. Unless otherwise stated.​

  • All cooperate prices offered benefits only it’s staffs and should not be shared among members of the public, relatives or friends.

2. RECREATION DIVE EXPERIENCE PRICES​

  • All Recreation Dive Experience Prices are subjected to change without prior notice in the event of currency fluctuation, increases in airfares, resort/hotel rates etc. However, no surcharged will be levied if full payment has been made prior to price revision (if any) except where government taxes (local GST, marine park charges, etc) affecting your dive tour are introduced or increased.

3. DEPOSIT, PAYMENT AND CANCELLATION CHARGES

  • A non-refundable deposit of SGD$200 per person is required upon confirmation of reservation and the balance due has to be made 21 days prior departure.

  • Upon confirmation of participation in any program, be it VERBALLY or IN WRITING, cancellation terms and conditions applied. 

  • No refund in full or in part will be given for any services/equipment included in the program, which are not utilized. Blue Reef Scuba LLP does not take responsibilities for events or factors beyond its control such as medical problems, airline strikes, bad weather, technical problems such as transportation vehicles or scuba equipment malfunction, etc. 

  • Cancellation announcements and refund for Recreation Diving Experience are subjected to the following. Announcement made in

    • Between 15-30 days 50% of dive package retail price.

    • Between 7-15 days 75% of dive package retail price.

    • 7 days or less 100% of dive package retail price. 

    • No show 100% of dive package retail price

    • In the event of any cancellation SGD$90.00 will be imposed as administrative charge above the cancellation or amendments charges.

4. REFUND OF UNUSED SERVICES

No refunds, exchange or fee adjustment can be made in respect of accommodation, meals, dives, transport, equipment or any other services, which are included as outlined in the all education programs and dive experience package.

5. TRAVEL DOCUMENTS

Participants are to ensure that they have a valid VISA (if required) and international passport with a minimum of SIX months validity from the date of departure. Participants are to accept all inconveniences and incidents caused by failure to undertake this responsibility (including verification of VISA requirement). No refund of any form will be entertained.

6. DIVE CERTIFICATION PROOF

If you are a certified diver participating in recreational dives, your diver certification card and/or dive log book form part of your travel documents. You must have these documents at hand during your dive trip for verification at site, if required.

The operators reserve the right to reject your dive participation or suggest a refresher course (at own expenses) if you are unable to perform your dive skills at level of mastery deemed safe enough to continue. In the event you are disallowed from dive participation, refunds will not be granted.

7. RENTAL AGREEMENT

The use of diving equipment provided during an education program or rental or dive equipment during a recreational dive experience are provided as an extra service only. Blue Reef Scuba LLP is not responsible for any equipment, malfunctions whilst on tour, injuries to hirer or damage to equipment. It is the sole responsibility of the hirer to acknowledge that the equipment is in good order prior to accepting the equipment or rental. The hirer will also assume the responsibility to reimburse Blue Reef Scuba LLP for any equipment loss or damaged whilst under the care of the hirer.

8. INSURANCE

Travel insurance is recommended in the event of trip cancellations, hospitalizations, medical and baggage loss, etc. It is highly recommended that participants of any programs purchase their own travel insurance prior to departure of the trips.

9. DISCHARGE OF LIABILITIES

All divers will be required to sign a liability waiver form during enrollment of a scuba program or prior to departure for recreational divers and abide by all diving rules of the operators.

BLUE REEF SCUBA LLP RESERVES THE RIGHT TO CHANGE, ALTER AND DELETE THESE TERMS AND CONDITIONS AS WELL AS TO ANY PROGRAM OUTLINES WITHOUT PRIOR NOTICE.
